You can spend hours casting your line and reeling in the catch of the day with fishing available right at your doorstep. A fisherman's dream come true!
Cedar Creek Cabins adjoin Cedar Lake Creek, part of the Sargent Canal system. Created in the 1960s, this vast network of canals provides a unique fishing environment that connects to East Matagorda Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
Sargent Ranch's broad network of canals facilitates water flow from the gulf to the wetlands in all directions, preventing stagnation and creating a thriving habitat for crabs, fish, and birds.
Future plans for 8,000 acre master planned community with hunting and fishing lodge plus equestrian facilities.

Currently you cannot build a home until we have better infrastructure. Once we have roads and utilities we will have a few model homes and there will be several home floor plans to choose from. The Cabins on Cedar Lake Creek in The Sargent Ranch will be all architecturally similar and all homes constructed on piers several feet above the storm surge. There will be design guidelines and opportunities to purchase prefabricated homes at discounted pricing. The homes will be carefully engineered to withstand the elements and hurricane force winds and storm surge.
Not permanently, only as a temporary solution until building formally starts.
